{inspired} wine tasting and friends

Friends! How good of a combo is that - wine tasting and friends. I think it might be my favorite! :) I actually have a couple posts all ready to publish, but my camera card reader died. Dead. So that's on my list of things to purchase this week, but in the meantime my wonderful and gorgeous friend Angie did a post on her blog about our wine tasting in eastern Washington last weekend. I highly recommend you check it out. Because not only will there be cute photos of us:

And, while not home related AT ALL, it has me wondering - what type of wine is your favorite? I'm a big red girl - cabs FTW! - but I live in Pinot Noir country. So, tasting in eastern Washington was especially delightful. Are you all about Pinots? Chards? What about Merlots? White vs. reds? I'd love to hear! :)

  3. Oh, wine tasting. What a great weekend event. I have trouble choosing a favorite. I really love good Spanish and Italian reds, and I love a good Pinot Noir. And Champagne. Always champagne. :)

  4. Wine, wine and more wine. Yum! I'm a red girl. But no berries for me. I like a dirty, leather, tobacco red. Mmmmm. Sounds like you guys had a blast!

  5. This is one of my favorite topics! I loved seeing your pictures on instagram from your wine day! I'm a red girl too - Cabs, Shiraz and a new favorite, Pinotage, a grape variety created in South Africa. I like a glass of wine with a little kick! Looks like you girls had a blast!

  6. I'd love to hear about some of your favorites from your region. I actually started "pinning" favorites once we have them so that I don't forget. I'm excited to get back to my wine-tasting days ;) There was just an article that I read about inexpensive white wines that had me intrigued. I like white wines but usually only in the summer. There's nothing like a nice red wine on a cool fall evening :)

  7. Pinot Noir is my absolute fav! I'm not crazy picky, but I don't like sweet wines and I usually prefer a red over white. Although in Germany, I got used to a 1/2 Reisling + 1/2 Sprite. I know it's somewhat of an old-lady drink, but I loved it=)

  8. Hey!!! I'm glad your back!

Looks & sounds like you guys had fun! As for my taste in wine...I do not discriminate and I do like pretty labels. I'm that girl.
